What makes people happy?

Check out the top five pursuits that bring South Africans the most joy

INTERNATIONAL Day of Happiness is right around the corner (Saturday, 20 March) and it is, therefore, the perfect time to evaluate what truly makes people happy, especially in these trying times.

In order to get an idea as to how the pandemic has shifted the psyche of South Africans, the South African Rooibos Council (SARC) conducted a survey comprising 700 people of varying ages and backgrounds.

The survey revealed that the simpler things in life are what cause people the most happiness these days.
