Extreme Fighting Championship returns on 8 May

Live EFC fights are back!

EXTREME Fighting Championship (EFC) fans do not have to wait much longer to watch their favourite brawlers in the octagon ring again, as EFC is scheduled to make a massive return to form, with its first event since national lockdown was implemented in South Africa last year.

An entertaining fight card has been scheduled for 8 May 2021.

During the lockdown period, EFC continued to sign additional broadcast deals with the most popular television channels across Africa, to ensure fans would not miss a single punch from upcoming events.

Owing to Covid-19 protocols, the first few events will be conducted without fans in attendance. Luckily then for fans, there are more than 30 of the largest TV channels in Africa on which live EFC events and other EFC programming will be broadcast.

EFC will host the first live bouts on EFC 85 on 8 May, with seven further events planned over the remainder of the year.

2021 EFC schedule: EFC 85: Saturday, 8 May

EFC 86: Saturday, 12 June

EFC 87: Saturday, 3 July

EFC 88: Saturday, 14 August

EFC 89: Saturday, 11 September

EFC 90: Saturday, 9 October

EFC 91: Saturday, 6 November

EFC 92: Saturday, 4 December
