Alternate telephone number for Richards Bay SAPS

The public has been unable to reach the station telephonically for almost four weeks.

A TEMPORARY telephone line has been set up at the Richards Bay police station after the telephone systems were damaged by the ongoing power outages.

Now, people can contact the police station for assistance on the following 24-hour number: 082 0505719.

Last week, SAPS Communications Officer, Captain Debbie Ferreira apologised to the community for the inconvenience caused.

‘We regret that it has been a challenge for members of the public to contact the offices to enquire about firearms, cases and other matters.’
