President Ramaphosa addresses the nation

The address follows meetings in recent days of the National Coronavirus Command Council (NCCC)

President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the nation this (Tuesday) evening at 7:30pm on the developments in the country’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The address, which comes ahead of the Easter long weekend, follows meetings in recent days of the National Coronavirus Command Council (NCCC), the President’s Coordinating Council (PCC) and Cabinet.

The president is expected to provide an update on the national Covid-19 vaccination programme and announce measures to curb the spread of infections during the busy Easter holiday.
