Frontline workers vaccinated

The group received their vaccines at Ngwelezana Hospital, which is set up as a vaccination site for the King Cetshwayo District programme

Regional frontline workers have begun receiving their Covid-19 vaccinations.

The vaccination programme has already reached healthcare workers from Queen Nandi Regional Hospital and will continue throughout the Zululand region.

The group received their vaccines at Ngwelezana Hospital, which is set up as a vaccination site for the King Cetshwayo District programme.

The first group to receive the vaccine included various health workers such as nurses and doctors who are highly-exposed to Covid-19.
