Richards Bay FC bounces back to the table top

Two first half goals seal the deal

STUNG by a 3-1 loss to Cape Umoya on Saturday – although the score line was no reflection of the merits of the performances – Richards Bay FC wasted no time in exacting revenge when they raced to a 2-1 win over Cape Town All Stars this afternoon (Tuesday).

The game had barely begun when Somila Ntsundwana had the ball in the back of the net, the big man setting the tone for the rest of the game (1-0).

The result was settled shortly before half time when the educated boot of Khanyisa Mayo slotted home a penalty (2-0).

Coach Simo Dladla will not be happy with a goal conceded with two minutes left on the stopwatch (2-1) but the three points are all that matters as his team returns home with another win under their belt.
