Mother’s Day lookalike competition – top 20 to be announced next week

The final winner will be announced on Thursday, 6 May - just in time for Mother's Day!

It’s your very last chance to enter our Mother’s Day lookalike competition, as entries close at midnight tonight (Thursday). If you and your mother look alike, email a photo of the two of you to momslookalike@zob.co.za

The photo must be recent – photos taken more than a year ago will not be accepted.

The photo must be of good quality and larger than 500KB. If the photo is not large enough to print, we cannot judge it. There is no age restriction, but the mother must be a Zululand resident. Both mother and child must still be alive.

Your entry must include all information required, otherwise you risk disqualification from the competition. (We will not publish this information – it only forms part of your entry.)

* The names and surnames of all the persons in the photo

* The mother’s physical address and contact number

* The date on which the photo was taken

Top 20 announced next week

Make sure you buy next week’s ZO Weekender edition, as this is when we will publish the top 20 photos of Zululand’s most similar-looking mothers and children, as decided by our judges.

After this, we will open the voting line for readers to vote for their favourite mother and child pair. The final winner will be announced on Thursday, 6 May – just in time for Mother’s Day!
