A driver was declared dead on the scene of a single motor vehicle accident on the N2 near Mtunzini on Friday (today).

According to IPSS Medical Rescue, the driver seemingly lost control of the vehicle before leaving the roadway and rolling multiple times down an embankment.

‘Unfortunately the driver was ejected from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries, and was declared dead on scene,’ said IPSS Medical Rescue spokesperson, Paul Herbst.
