Driver killed, multiple critical in N2 crash near Amatikulu

One person was killed and multiple people injured when two vehicles collided on the N2 northbound near Amatikulu today (Friday).

A family of three, who were occupants of one of the vehicles, are all in a critical condition and were extricated from the wreck by fire and rescue, using the jaws of life.

‘The patients were transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment once stabilised on scene,’ said IPSS Medical Rescue spokesperson, Paul Herbst.
