SUNDAY, 25 APRIL: Wine and dine for charity

Locals can enjoy an afternoon of wine pairing and a delicious buffet on Sunday, 25 April to help raise funds for non-profit organisation, Hospice Zululand Association.
The event, hosted by La Fusion Chefs and Masew Wines from 1pm to 6pm in Empangeni, will cost R250 per person and will take place at La Fusion Restaurant at 3 Kerk Street.

SATURDAY, 1 MAY: Fun walk at Enseleni Nature Reserve

Take a walk on the ‘wild side’ by supporting the Seafarers Land and Sea 4.8km fun walk on Saturday, 1 May at the Enseleni Nature Reserve.
Walkers are encouraged to dress up and stand a chance to win the best dressed award.
Tickets cost R200 per adult and R50 per child, which includes a boerewors roll for each walker plus a mug per adult and a water bottle per child.

SATURDAY, 1 MAY: Fundraising golf day for Round Table Empangeni 61

Round Table Empangeni 61 is hosting a fundraising golf day on Saturday, 1 May at Empangeni Country Club, in aid of Reach for a Dream. The format is American scramble, at an entry fee of R1 000 per team of four.
Sponsor a T-box for R500, greens at R500 or car park sponsorship at R2 000.

SATURDAY, 29 MAY: Don’t miss upcoming fundraising musical evening

Take the family out for a relaxing and enjoyable musical evening with Pieter Rischmuller, AKA Piet Pompies, from 6pm on 29 May.
The event is being held at The Office Sports Bar at Empangeni’s Addison Park, and is a fundraiser for Kkobus van Wyk who was paralysed in a motorbike accident in 2017.
Tickets are R200 for VIP or R100 for the field, and there will be food stalls available.
