A variety of fishing off the north coast

Fishing was booming on the North Coast last week

These guys were attracted to live bait, but the down-rigged baits were the most productive.

Rock and surf anglers managed to get stuck into some summer time kingfish.

Anglers throwing lures or flies in the Sodwana or Cape Vidal areas have been successful with regular kingfish catches.

The bronze bream fishing on the lower north coast has kept most of the other anglers happy, with the gullies and rocky areas around Ballito producing well.

The inedibles have been keeping quiet this week, as locals await the arrival of the sardines.
