Amangwe Village, an NPO serving the rural KwaMbonambi communities, is offering ribbon making services to all corporates and businesses who would like to buy in bulk.

Perhaps you would like your company to help raise awareness about National Child Protection Week.
An effective way of doing this is by having all employees wearing a ribbon of a specific colour for the duration of the week.
Amangwe Village is one of the Zululand NPOs that has fallen on hard times in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Relying mostly on corporate sponsorship and donations, Amangwe’s donors have by and large fallen away, leaving them in a very precarious position, unable to pay staff salaries and other essential running costs.
The organisation’s staff are expert ribbon makers, having made plenty of bulk ribbon orders in previous years.
Child Protection Week seeks to raise awareness of the rights of children as articulated in the country’s Constitution.
The campaign is led by the Department of Social Development, in partnership with key government departments and civil society organisations rendering child protection services.
The South African government calls on all citizens to support Child Protection Week by ensuring the most vulnerable in our society do not suffer abuse.
Children in South Africa live in a society with a Constitution that has the highest regard for their rights and for the equality and dignity of everyone.
Protecting children from violence, exploitation and abuse is not only a basic value, but also an obligation clearly set out in Article 28 of the South African Constitution.
Do your bit this year for the protection of South Africa’s children by ordering a batch of ribbons from Amangwe Village.
By doing so, you will also help support one of Zululand’s NPOs whose services simply cannot be done without.
To place your Child Protection Week ribbon order, contact Amangwe Manager, Zanele Mabaso, on manager@amangwe.org.za or on 083 4799803.
