The pros of long-distance
· You appreciate the time you spend together far more than if you were to see each other more often.
· You often get to meet new people through your significant other and end up being introduced to a whole new circle.
· If you are not familiar with your significant other’s area of residence, you are able to experience a whole different space and everything that comes with it.
· You can take extra time to plan your dates and days out together to make them even more special.
The cons of long-distance
· Not seeing one another for extended periods of time can put unnecessary strain on the relationship.
· Travel costs can form a large part of your month’s budget which could be spent elsewhere.
· Problems in the relationship can be made to seem bigger than they are as issues can grow in size when not discussed in person. Absence can truly make the heart grow fonder, however, an entirety of absence will most definitely not make that the case.
Some people will be worth having a long-distance relationship, however, it’s up to you to weigh those pros and cons!
