Black mamba grounded for the night

Having illegally trespassed into an Nkwaleni home on Friday night, a 2.4m black mamba was confined indoors for the night as it was too dark to attempt the capture.

Come the morning, Peter Daniel made the trip from Richards Bay and after scratching around between boxes and furniture, he eventually found and removed the highly venomous snake.

‘At least it wasn’t a rubber one this time,’ quipped Peter.
