Fun colouring-in competition
The competition commemorates Child Protection Week, observed last week (30 May - 6 June)
PROTECTING children is everybody’s business. In commemoration of Child Protection Week (30 May to 6 June), we are calling on mommies, daddies, grandparents, friends and family to help their children know their basic rights.
You can help by giving them the opportunity to enter this colouring-in competition in which the winner can walk away with a tablet and other great prizes.

Primary school children can colour in a picture, printed in the LifeLine advertisement in the Zululand Observer or Eyethu Bay Watch newspapers.
But don’t wait too long because the competition closing date is looming.
High school children and young adults, your rights also matter! Get involved and know your rights!
Send us a video in which you tell us what you think your rights are as a young adult.
Then upload your video to Facebook, Tag LifeLine Zululand and Zululand Observer – hashtag #myrightsmatter – or email your submission to tracy@synergycreative.co.za.
The competition’s closing date is 14 June.
This competition aims to bring the message across that child protection is everybody’s business. It’s important to instill basic rights in our children to ensure they understand that they deserve to be loved and protected – it’s their basic right. #myrightsmatter
