Youth Day Covid vaccination station in Richards Bay

This follows last week's successful roll-out at the same venue on Wednesday and Thursday where 462 vaccines were administered to people over the age of 60.

THIS Youth Day (Wednesday) the Department of Health will host another vaccination roll-out at John Ross College in Richards Bay from 9am to 3.30pm.

This follows last week’s successful roll-out at the same venue on Wednesday and Thursday where 462 vaccines were administered to people over the age of 60.

Anyone over the age of 60 will be able to be vaccinated at this station and it is not limited to residents from ward 3.

One does not need to be pre-registered as it is possible to register at the venue with your identity document.

There are five ways to register on the Electronic Vaccination Data System (EVDS) and it can be done online – vaccine.enroll.gov.za, via the WhatsApp line 0600 123456, SMS by dialling *134*832# or calling the Covid-19 hotline on 0800 029999.
