Massive R75-million Powerball jackpot draw

This is the 13th jackpot rollover since the R112-million Powerball jackpot was won with a ticket bought at Marlin Mall in Meerensee

One or more lucky South Africans could become multi-millionaires tonight (Tuesday) as a whopping R75-million jackpot could be won.

This is the 13th jackpot rollover since the R112-million Powerball jackpot was won with a ticket bought at Marlin Mall in Meerensee.

Powerball is the only game across the ITHUBA portfolio that has reached the R100-million jackpot mark 10 times since ITHUBA took over as the third national Lottery operator.

Powerball has produced the top three largest jackpots in the history of the South African national Lottery.

ITHUBA CEO, Charmaine Mabuza, said: ‘We are excited to announce yet another life-changing jackpot to our players.

The Powerball jackpot is at a guaranteed R75-million.

‘As South Africa has moved to lockdown Level 3, we have various platforms available to players from the comfort and safety of their homes.

‘As a convenient and safe method of playing during the Covid-19 pandemic, we urge players to purchase their tickets on the Lottery website: https://www.nationallottery.co.za/, using the Lottery mobile app, or through participating banks FNB, ABSA, Nedbank and Standard Bank,’ said Mabuza.
