Richards Bay FC prepares for disappointment

Richards Bay FC will go through the motions as they run onto the field today against invisible opponents Royal AM

HAVING narrowly failed in their quest for a win over Chippa United on Saturday – the sides played to a thrilling 1-1 draw – Richards Bay FC will go through the motions as they run onto the field today against invisible opponents Royal AM.

The penultimate game in the PSL promotion playoff round robin tournament is unlikely to be honoured by the Durban visitors, who have failed to contest their home games against NRB and Chippa.

Instead, they are relying on the courts to put them through as they continue their defiance against the PSL instruction to fulfil the fixtures.

Kick-off at the uMhlathuze Stadium is scheduled for 3pm this afternoon but don’t expect to see the Royal AM coach bus arriving.
