Woman gives birth outside Richards Bay Department of Labour
Mom and baby were taken to hospital but reported to be doing well
KZN Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were called to assist a woman in labour, outside the Richards Bay Department of Labour earlier today (Thursday).
The ambulance call went out just after midday, and Lancet Laboratory staff ran to assist her, but she had self-delivered her little boy by the time the paramedics arrived.
Both mother and baby were taken by ambulance to hospital, but were reported to be doing well.
