eSikhaleni water pipe bursts

The City of uMhlathuze has issued a water disruption warning in eSikhaleni.

Communities of eSikhaleni, Mpembeni, Gobandlovu, Madlankala, Port Durnford, Dlangezwa, Vulindlela and Felixton are affected by the interruption which was caused by the bursting of the pipe that transfers water to Madlankala.

According to the municipality, the affected pipe transfers water to reservoirs at the eSikhaleni cemetery.

‘Our water team is on scene, digging to repair the pipe. The municipality will continuously update the public’, said a statement issued by the municipality.
