The study aid is sponsored by Mondi and forms part of Mondi’s campaign to assist matriculants in the preparations for their final examinations.

The 16-page guide comprises a mathematics and science section, consisting of examination papers and memorandums, supplied by the Department of Education.

First published in 2009, this is the 13th year Pass Matric With Mondi is published, which means a whole generation of Grade 12s has already benefitted from this study guide.

Pass Matric with Mondi’s design, layout, printing, transport and distribution are done by the Zululand Observer, and the study aid is widely distributed, especially among rural schools.

It is delivered at Mondi Richards Bay, Forestry, Mondi Merebank, Merebank Rising Sun newspaper for insert, as well as the local Department of Education circuit offices for rural schools to collect.

Thanks to the Department of Education – Lihle Madondo and her team – the study aid reaches the most remote parts of Zululand and KZN.

The Unizulu Science Centre also receives enough copies to utilise in the workshops it conducts in rural areas.
