Melomed Richards Bay cares: Beyond the scrubs and into the community

Plugged into the wellness of the community, Melomed Richards Bay conducted a Stroke Awareness Campaign at a local old-age home and primary school

This week, Melomed Richards Bay demonstrated its ongoing commitment to community wellness and stakeholder engagement through a series of impactful community-centred initiatives across the region.

Among the week’s highlights was Dr Mariëtte Mouton Business Breakfast engagement, which brought together key stakeholders and partners in strengthening professional collaboration and healthcare networking within the community.

In line with the hospital’s ongoing Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programme, Melomed Richards Bay also conducted a Stroke Awareness Campaign at a local old age home and primary school.

The outreach initiative was proudly undertaken in collaboration with the newly-opened Prince Buthelezi Mall, reflecting a shared commitment toward community upliftment and health education.
