WATCH: Car burns out in Richards Bay after tyre catches alight
The motorist reportedly noticed a wheel had caught alight while he was driving
THINGS heated up for City of uMhlathuze Fire & Rescue members this morning (Thursday) after they raced to a vehicle fire in Alton straight from an intense training session in the searing heat.
The unfortunate motorist reportedly noticed one of his wheels had caught alight, and drove into the premises of a tyre dealership in Dollar Drive where the entire vehicle quickly became engulfed in flames before burning out.

Fire & Rescue arrived on the scene promptly to extinguish the blaze.
Neither the motorist nor any employees inside the building reported any injuries, however, the glass on the building’s door shattered.
