One injured in multi-vehicle N2 accident near Mtubatuba

No fatalities as four vehicles collide on N2 south of Mtubatuba

A WOMAN was rushed to hospital following a four-vehicle collision on the N2 near the Mkhonza area outside KwaMsane, Mtubatuba earlier this evening (Friday).

The collision, which involved a hatchback, two bakkies and a truck, caused traffic to slow down drastically on the national route as emergency services attended to the injured and cleared the debris.

According to emergency personnel on scene, the hatchback was travelling northbound when it overtook a bakkie and collided with an oncoming bakkie that was heading south. The southbound vehicle reportedly spun out of control.

No fatalities were reported, and the driver of the hatchback was rushed to hospital.
