WATCH: Mass police presence in Empangeni and Richards Bay on Black Friday

SAPS members deployed throughout the City of uMhlathuze to deter any would-be criminals

WITH millions of extra rands flooding into the city during the Black Friday frenzy today, police are on high alert and ensuring a high level of visibility as a deterrent to any would-be thieves, robbers, shoplifters or potential looters who might want to try and cash in on the occasion.

Senior members briefed both uniform and plain clothes SAPS members prior to them being deployed at potential hot spots.
