A cyclist (58) was killed in a horrific hit-and-run early this morning (Tuesday).
The accident occurred on the R619 North Central Arterial near the Nseleni bridge over the N2.

Law enforcement and emergency services arrived on scene shortly after 6am to find the truck that was involved in the collision had fled the scene.
It is believed the deceased was struck by a heavy-duty vehicle.
