Drugs valued at R90 000 confiscated in Richards Bay
Nigerian national arrested in possession of a variety of illegal substances
FOLLOWING up on information received, members of the SAPS Provincial Drugs and Firearms unit on Tuesday arrested a suspect (29) in possession of drugs in Arboretum.
The Nigerian national is believed to have received drugs from Gauteng, with the intended purpose of resale to tourists and locals over the December period in Richards Bay’s central and Mzingazi areas.

Intense investigations and observations led to the suspect’s apprehension, and he was found in possession of a variety of illegal substances valued at over R90 000.
He was detained at Richards Bay SAPS and is expected to appear in court shortly.
