Renew vehicle licences in Mtubatuba

VEHICLE owners can now renew their car licence discs at the Mtubatuba municipal driver licence testing centre (DLTC).

This comes after the municipality met with the Department of Transport (DOT), which approved the service and a memorandum of understanding was signed.
Mtuba Municipality previously said that, owing to an increase in traffic at the post office, Council resolved that the licensing of motor vehicles should be done at the municipality.
DOT spokesperson Kwanele Ncalane told Northern Eyethu that allowing municipalities to renew vehicle licences was occurring across the province to make it easier on car owners.
