Search for boy (10) continues along Tugela river

A MANDENI boy (10) has been missing since yesterday (Monday), last seen swimming in the Tugela river.

IPSS Medical Rescue arrived at the scene after receiving a call on Monday afternoon, however, owing to the high water levels, they were unable to enter the river because of safety concerns.

The banks and weir were checked but there were no signs of the young boy.

IPSS and SAPS Search & Rescue teams resumed their search of the area this morning at first light, with additional resources.
