Zululand surfers called to get on board

LOCAL surfers can prepare for Saturday when the Zululand Championships contest will be held at Alkantstrand.

King Cetshwayo Surfriders will host the competition for all ages and skill levels, with prizes and trophies on offer in Open, Masters, Juniors and Grommets (beginners) divisions.

If time allows, there will also be a fun expression session.

“The aim of the event is to promote surfing in the area, to get the local competitive scene going again and to hopefully send teams to the 2024 SA Champs to represent our local district,” said organiser John Cawood.
