Arrests made in Mtunzini roadblock

One suspect was arrested for possession of dagga at a police roadblock held in the Mtuzini area on Monday.

The multi-disciplinary operation was conducted by various police units.

King Cetshwayo Cluster spokesperson Captain Siyanda Shangase said 68 vehicles were searched during the roadblock.

“About 120 people were also searched. Four motorists were issued with traffic fines for contravention of the Road Traffic Management Act.

“The arrested suspect is expected to appear in the Mtunzini Magistrate’s Court soon,” he said.
