Look for dolphins at Richards Bay

A webcam monitors the dolphins' movements during daylight hours, scanning up and down the ocean area they inhabit.

Highly endangered humpback dolphins are watched and studied from a viewing platform at Alkantstrand, Richards Bay.

But among the study tools is a webcam that monitors their movements during daylight hours, scanning up and down the ocean area they inhabit.

You can access the camera by visiting dolphins.org.za Otherwise, search for ‘Humpback Dolphin Research’ on Facebook to find out more about the ongoing research.
