WATCH: Taxis, car collide in Empangeni

Several people were lucky to walk away without critical injuries when two taxis and a car collided in Empangeni last night (Monday).

The accident occurred along Main Road, near the R102 intersection, at about 6.45pm.

KwaZulu Private Ambulance paramedics attended the scene and treated two patients for serious injuries and a further five for minor injuries.

They were treated on scene before being transferred to hospital for further medical care.

While the cause of the accident is unclear, all emergency services were on scene.
