Extended operating times for Logos Hope in Richards Bay

Members of the public have an extra hour to visit the largest floating book fair on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

Weekend operating hours have been extended for the largest floating book fair, MV Logos Hope, which is currently docked at the Tuzi Gazi Waterfront in Richards Bay.

The vessel, which docked at the local port two weeks ago, has been hosting daily programmes, activities and visits for thousands of community members visiting the ship, which has over 5 000 book titles and 350 crew members bringing knowledge, help and hope to locals.

The ship will be open to the public until 8pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays before its departure on 19 February, and operating from 1pm to 7pm from Tuesday to Thursday. Entry is R10.

Schools are still invited to book their tours during the week, which is free but bookings are essential – contact Sarah on 073 3893265.
