A woman is facing a charge of fraud after she allegedly unsuccessfully attempted to register the death of a man who died 20 years ago

A peculiar case of fraud involving suspected ID theft, the alleged insuring of a deceased, fraudulent death registration, misuse of a dead body, and ultimately finger pointing unfolded at Mtubatuba Home Affairs (DHA) last week.
This after a 52-year-old woman is facing a charge of fraud after she allegedly unsuccessfully attempted to register the death of a man who in fact, died 20 years ago…
