Ladies unite in prayer in Empangeni

All praying women are called to unite in prayer for the Women’s World Day of Prayer on Friday, 1 March.

Held at Empangeni’s Holy Cross Anglican Church, 58 Maxwell Street, the prayer will start at 2pm.

The theme is from Ephesians 4: 1 – 2, “I beg you … bear with one another in love.”

The Women’s World day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement of Christian women.

In more than 170 countries, they come together on the first Friday in March to join in prayer and action for peace and justice.

The prayer event brings together women of various races, cultures and churches in fellowship and understanding.
