Youth cultural and skills development foundation to be launched

It will provide skills development by training young people how to manufacture cleaning detergents

A cultural exchange and skills development foundation targeting young people from Mtubatuba is set to be launched tomorrow (Saturday).

Nonhle Sithole, founder of Izikhuthali Foundation, said she had the idea because she wanted to create a platform for cultural exchange and skills development for the youth of her rural area of Ntondweni.

The foundation was founded in 2022.

“The mission is to preserve and promote Zulu culture through various artistic expressions such as music and dance,” said Sithole.

The foundation, she added, will allow local young people to participate in the contribution of cultural heritage.

It will provide skills development by training young people how to manufacture cleaning detergents.

The launch will be held at Zabazendoda Hall in Ntondweni, Mtubatuba.
