Two people injured in John Ross highway crash
Two passengers were injured in an accident between the canal robots and East Central Arterial in Richards Bay

TWO people have been seriously injured in an accident on the John Ross highway this (Sunday) morning.
The passengers, a young boy believed to be 12 years old and a woman, were trapped in a vehicle that had veered off the road between the canal robots and East Central Arterial in Richards Bay. The driver escaped without injuries.
The City of uMhlathuze’s fire and rescue department were quickly on the scene and freed the patients using the Jaws of Life.
Paramedics were also on the scene to treat the injured patients.
