Transnet investigates Richards Bay train derailment

Recovery efforts are under way following a train derailment in Richards Bay on Tuesday.

This was confirmed by Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) on Wednesday.

The incident which occurred on the coal export line, has disrupted all train traffic to Richards Bay.

The cause of the derailment is not yet known and an investigation being conducted.
