WATCH: Child (4) critical after being struck by vehicle

A little girl (4) was airlifted to hospital this afternoon (Friday) after being struck by a vehicle near the Mandeni toll.

According to IPSS Medical Rescue spokesperson Samantha Meyrick, the girl was left critically injured.

“IPSS advanced life support paramedics worked to stabilise the girl, and the Air Mercy services helicopter was activated,” said Meyrick.

“The young girl was airlifted to a suitable facility for further care.”
