Help Richards Bay NPO feed the hungry

Richards Bay NPO seeks public support

Richards Bay NPO Walk in Faith is appealing to members of the public to support its emergency food drive by donating much-needed items.

These include non-perishable items, from tea and coffee, sugar and biscuits, to pasta, flour, samp, oil, chutney, tins of bully beef and mixed vegetables, among other items.

For those unable to get to the shops and drop off the items, they are welcome to use supermarket delivery services.

About the NPO

Walk in Faith aims to care for vulnerable children and families with the help and guidance of volunteers.

Based in Richards Bay and founded by Merinda Ackerman, Walk in Faith seeks to support needy residents not only in the Bay, but also in Empangeni and surrounding areas.

They run various outreach projects, including hygiene drives, annual Christmas drives, back-to-school drives, among others.

The NPO also provides numerous children with lunches on a daily basis, without which they would go hungry.

For more information on how you can support Walk in Faith, contact 081 5382331 (Richards Bay) or 083 4170133 (Empangeni).
