Richards Bay pageant finalist to represent SA overseas

Zululander and pageant director Jabulile Magano raising funds to travel to Canada for Mrs United Nations

Heading to Toronto, Canada for the Mrs United Nations pageant in September, Zululander and pageant director Jabulile Magano is fundraising to cover the trip’s expenses.

Attaining the title of 1st Princess at the Mrs Africa pageant earlier this year, the wife and full-time working mother of two is calling on the community to support her fundraiser – R100 donation campaign with the aim of targeting 1 000 people to support.

The donations will cover pageant registration fees, flights, accommodation, wardrobe, transportation and accessories.

As a founder of a women’s fellowship and heading up her own NPO NgiJabulie Pageants Charity and Community, she also passionately pursues autism awareness after her now 11-year-old daughter Katlego was diagnosed at two years old.

Jabulile’s organisation is passionate about promoting charity, children, youth and women empowerment, and her pageants are inclusive regardless of race, gender, age or body type.

Through her charity work, she is actively involved in raising awareness and fundraising for NPOs – autism, Down syndrome, Cansa, LifeLine Zululand, special schools, Dice and more.

All participating models are encouraged to play a role in fundraising for charity, collecting pre-loved clothes and donating food parcels.

With the deadline to Mrs United Nations looming, Jabulile invites Zululanders to make donations on her road to the pageant, and encourages family and friends to also contribute.

She can be contacted on 061 3486063.
