WATCH: Primary school children learn about power

Young learners will get an opportunity to obtain valuable information about electrical engineering after the Dr Gesi Foundation launched its school programme at Gobandlovu Primary in eSikhaleni on Wednesday.

The aim of the programme is to equip Grade 6 pupils with in-depth knowledge about the electricity industry and lay a foundation for them to become future artisans.

During these classes, pupils will be exposed to basic information such as learning about distribution boards, switches, wiring, safety and other aspects of electrical engineering.
