As devastation grips various communities following a destructive tornado that claimed 11 lives across KZN, efforts are under way to provide relief to hundreds of victims.

Seven people were killed when a tornado tore through homes in Tongaat on Monday, while a further four fatalities were reported in Nquthu, eShowe and KwaHlabisa.
