eShowe township man arrested in police operation

A stop-and-search operation in King Dinuzulu Township on Wednesday night resulted in the arrest of one man.

eShowe SAPS arrested the individual on Mthiyane Road at about 8pm for the unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

He was found with a 9mm pistol and 15 rounds of ammunition.

The man was detained and appeared in the eShowe Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
