Richards Bay truck stop moving forward

The truck stop is expected to accommodate at least 350 side-tipper trucks.

IN a move to further ease truck congestion in and around Richards Bay, work has begun on a new truck staging area along the John Ross highway.

With clearing of the construction site having already begun, the truck stop is expected to accommodate at least 350 side-tipper trucks.

This is part of ongoing efforts to minimise queuing coal-laden side-tipper trucks destined for the Port of Richards Bay.
