Hillside Aluminium signs 15-year lease agreement with Transnet National Ports Authority

The future of Hillside Aluminium’s operations in Richards Bay has been further cemented by the signing of a 15-year lease agreement, securing job creation and long-term investment in the region.

The agreement between the smelter and Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) for an aluminium component manufacturing and storage facility at the Port of Richards Bay was signed last week following extensive negotiations.
