Zululanders should brace for more bad weather as a severe thunderstorm is expected this (Monday) afternoon and into the evening.
The thunderstorm is forecast for uMhlathuze, Hlabisa, Hluhluwe, Mtubatuba, Nongoma, Mthonjaneni, Ulundi, Jozini, Pongola and uMhlabuyalingana.
According to the SAWS, the storm will be accompanied by damaging winds, excessive lightning, hail and heavy downpours over the north-eastern parts of KZN.
This could lead to localised damage to infrastructure, danger to life and power surges due to lightning.
Residents and motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution as the bad weather persists.
