Traffic officer fatally shot on N2 off-ramp

The Groutville southbound off-ramp and bridge over the N2 were the scene of a fatal shooting of a traffic officer this (Monday) morning.

IPSS Medical Rescue arrived on scene shortly before 7.30am, and as at 8.15am, the southbound off-ramp and bridge remain closed as law enforcement initiates investigations at this active crime scene.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes should they need to access the area.
