Emergency services were on scene this (Thursday) morning following an evacuation at Umfolozi Hotel Casino Convention Resort
While many residents and motorists may have been alarmed by what was perceived to be a fire at the Umfolozi Hotel Casino Convention Resort in Empangeni this morning (Thursday), it was merely a drill that took place.
The casino was evacuated, with uMhlathuze Fire & Rescue and other emergency services on scene for the routine fire drill.
